Kathleen Lieblich

Assistant Director of Student Advocacy and Prevention Awareness

Kathleen Lieblich is the Assistant Director of Hofstra University’s Office Student Advocacy and Prevention Awareness. Originally from Northern New Jersey, Kathleen completed her undergraduate degree at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut, where she first found her passion for working with students. Kathleen pursued her Master’s degree in Applied Psychology with a focus in Community Psychology at Sacred Heart where she began her professional Student Affairs journey in Residence Life. Before her current role, Kathleen was also a member of the Hofstra Residence Life team. Kathleen provides a coordinated community approach to support students in critical areas such as substance abuse prevention, violence prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices. Integrating prevention education, environmental management, early intervention and assessment strategies, Kathleen works to inform and ensure the safety of the entire Hofstra community.

Anna (Annie) McManus

I have been a proud member of the Hofstra University community since 1999. Prior to my current position as Senior Assistant in the Office of Student Advocacy and Prevention Awareness, I worked in the offices of the Center for University Advisement, Undergraduate Admissions and Vice President for Enrollment Management. These multi-faceted job experiences have afforded me a deeper understanding of meeting the various academic and personal needs of the students here at Hofstra. As a graduate of Hofstra and the mother of 3 Hofstra graduates, I am also in the unique position of being able to speak from personal experience about Hofstra and its vibrant, progressive student and administrative communities. I hold a BA in Political Science and I am currently pursuing a MSEd in Higher Education Leadership and Policy Studies.

In addition to my 4 wonderful children, I am married to my husband Kevin. I’m an avid reader, artist, alternative music fan and beach bum. I enjoy attending concerts and museum exhibitions in my spare time. I am also a dedicated swimmer and can be found most early mornings at the Hofstra Swim Center. Go Pride!

Zaibis Muñoz

Originally from Miami, Florida, she completed her undergraduate career at University of Florida, where she earned her degree in Religion and Theories & Politics of Sexuality. One of her favorite undergraduate experiences was studying abroad on the Semester at Sea program that introduced her to the world of Student Affairs. Zaibis went on to pursue her Master's degree in College Student Personnel Administration with a concentration in Conflict Analysis Resolution at Nova Southeastern University. She has spent over a decade working in residence life and housing and a majority of her career helping students get the most out of their college experience. She joins us after serving most recently as Director of Residence Life at NYIT. In her free time, she enjoys a good book, spin classes with great playlists, and spending time with family.
