Carissa Brown – Volunteered in Cambodia for 15 weeks with a local NGO called HURREDO (Human Resources and Rural Economic Development Organization). She plans to find employment in the NGO field.
John Costello – Pursuing a Master’s Degree in Sustainability and will be a graduate assistant with the Center for Civic Engagement at Hofstra University.
Athraja de Silva – A documentation officer at the Permanent Mission of Sri Lanka to the United States in New York.

Catherine Ardrey – Pursuing a Master’s Degree in Public Affairs and Administration at Brown University. She also works as a Developmental Intern at Kid’s Play International.
Scott Cantor – Account Manager at Trust Capital Funding.
Justin Ederheimer – Administrative Specialist for the U.S. Sergeant at Arms in the United States Senate.

Danny Bautista ­– Pursuing a Master’s Degree at Adelphi University.
Lynda Blegen – Client Services Intern at ViTRO Agency in San Diego, CA.
Caron Bricks – Studying Urban Planning and Policy and Community Development at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is also planning to intern at the Village of Glen Ellyn.
Jaclyn Catania – Earned a Master’s Degree at East Carolina University with a Master of Science in Geography; she is now employed with Apple as a GIS specialist in CA.  
Tara Cohen – Pursing a Master’s Degree in Social Work at the City University of New York - Hunter College.
Samantha Colvin – Employed by the Homeless Planning Council of Delaware, providing emergency shelter to at least 60 homeless persons a day. She will soon be pursuing a Masters in Science in International Development and Humanitarian Emergencies at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Joshua Ettinger – Program assistant at the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) for their human rights and law program in Washington D.C. He is currently working on a Geospatial Technologies Project and uses satellite imagery to map political crises and provide evidence for human rights litigation.
Anna Maria Garcia – Operations Analyst at Focus Financial Patterns.
Jennifer Hart – Photo Editor at Redbook and Woman’s Day magazines. In her spare time she is a travel writer and freelances to several places, primarily Travel Weekly.
Marissa Josephs ­– Manager at Fika- Bar & Kitchen.
Melanie Martha – Executive Assistant at the Volcker Alliance in Manhattan.
Anna Okoniewski –Activities Manager at the National Kidney Foundation while continuing her medical education (CME/CE).
Tara Ricker – Geologist at JC Broderick & Associates.
Nathan Shapiro – Intern at the U.S. House of Representatives.
Hannah Skahill – Events and Program Coordinator for the International Business and Strategy Group at Northeastern University while pursuing her Master’s Degree in Global Studies and International Affairs with a concentration in Global Student Mobility, and travels as a chaperone with her school to China, Japan, Chile, and Brazil.
Steven Surujbali – Sixth grade mathematics teacher. He is also pursuing a Master’s of Science Degree in Secondary Education in Mathematics at St. John’s University.
Liz Weeden – Account Executive for Quinn & Co. Public Relations in NY.
Kirsten White – Area Sales Manager at B&G Foods, Inc. in Denver, CO.
Amanda Martin – Accepted for the Peace Corps and will be left for Ukraine on March 23, 2014. She has been assigned to the Youth Development program where she will be working with schools and other youth based organizations in developing programs and classes focused on topics such a life goal development, healthy lifestyle choices, leadership and volunteerism. She is hoping to create a Blog during her time in the Program.

Rebecca Galin – Completed a Master’s in Education and employed as a high school Spanish teacher at Capitol Region Education Council in Hartford, CT.
Christina Hoffman – Currently a GIS specialist working for a traffic engineering firm specializing in emergency planning services, and more specifically, emergency planning for nuclear plants throughout the U.S. and Canada.  She is also a second year graduate student studying City and Regional Planning at Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning Y Public Policy, Rugter University with an anticipated graduation date of December 2015.
Etana Jacobi – Seventh grade teacher at UP Education Network in Boston, MA.
Sarah Labia – Completing a law degree at Touro College while working as a legal intern at the Law Offices of Nicholas C. Connolly.
Lukas Miedreich – Assistant Director in the Student Engagement Office at McDaniel College in Westminster, MD.
Christiaan Perez – Manager of Advocacy and Digital Strategy ay LatinoJustice PRLDEF. Named “40 Under 40 Rising Latino Stars of 2014” by the Hispanic Coalition of New York.
Jacqueline Smith – Completed her law degree in May 2015 and is planning to take the NY State Bar exam July 2015.
James Yantis – Conducting research on the Lesotho Highlands Water Project while completing a Master’s Degree at The City College of New York.
Kagen Yelmene – Field Organizing Specialist at Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains, Inc. in Colorado.
Stephen Cohen – Temporary Program Contractor at National Grid in Hicksville, NY.
Christopher Feneran – Employed by GEICO in the Management Development Program.
Steve Fredericks Employed by Pershing LLC, a BNY Mellon Company, in Anti- Money Laundering Compliance.
Matt Levin – Employed with United Capital Source.
Tara Ricker – Employed as a technician at JC Broderick and Associates.
Elizabeth (Janey) Robson – Currently living and working in Seoul, South Korea as an English teacher for the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education at a Korean public elementary school.
Sarah Santos Has taken Foreign Service Exam and is awaiting a position. Seeking career related employment in the interim.
Amber Sass – Traveling Europe with the company, "Go Ahead Tours." Have visited: Bulgaria, Romania, The Netherlands, Hungary, Austria, The Czech Republic, Poland, and Denmark. Scheduled to visit: Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Estonia. Still seeking career-related employment.
Anna Styles – English teacher in South Korea for the Seol Metropolitan Office of Education at a Korean public elementary school

Alyssa Coco – Completed a Master’s Degree in GIS at Salem State University.
Melissa Elfers – Teacher’s Aide at a preschool.
Alana Glaubiger – Completed a law degree and recently passed the New York Bar Exam. She will be working as a Housing Attorney for the Center of Family Representation.
Evelia Johnston – Research Partnerships Officer at the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research in New York.  
Alex Moore – Fulfilled two-year commitment with Teach For America and is currently teaching in Detroit. She spent the summer leading two high school adventure programs with National Geographic Student Expeditions and Global Routes and will soon be leading a three month trip to Asia with Youth International.
Joshua Siegel – Completed Master’s Degree in GIS from Penn State. He currently works as an Inside Sales Representative at Weichert.
Monica Strzelecki – English Teacher at INTO Newcastle University.
Hilary James (Panquerne) – She is married and lives in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
Ama Mensah – Works as an anchor, producer and reporter for ETV Ghana.
Allison Redman – Sales Executive for a flooring company while awaiting admittance to graduate school.

Michael Spofford – Employed by US Airways at MacArthur Airport on Long Island.
William Wertling – A recruiter for Outsource Technical.

Michael Carrigy – Employed as a Senior Planner at MTA/Metro North in New York while completing his Master's in Planning at Rutgers. He has moved to Hoboken.
Nhaomie Douyon – Health Transition Coach in Baltimore, MD.
Adrienne Gillespie – Administrative Associate for Forge Financial Advisors.
Alex Moore – Employed at Teach for America in Detroit. Applying for Master's in Urban Pedagogy at the University of Michigan.

John Field – Employed by Wesco Integrated Supply as a purchasing representative and servicing Pratt & Whitney. He and another Hofstra alumnus married in April 2013.
Valerie Rizzuto Completing her Master’s or Doctorate in Florida.

Sol Auerbach (’08) – Employed with the Hawaii Island HIV/AIDS Foundation as the Marketplace Assister for Hi’i Ola Program Services after completing two years in the Peace Crops in Malawi.
Simon Burke (’06) – HR Director and Assistant General Manager for Fat Tire Tours Paris since January 2014. He also gives motorcycle tours through Paris independently as a hobby.
Bill Hambrecht (’05) – Service Manager at Scientific Games.
Kathleen Marcel- Austin (’05) – Independent Owner of Melaleuca: The Wellness Company.
Richard Gomez (’03) ­­– Service Program Director at GE Healthcare. He is also an actor and works for the U.S. Army.
