Chinese Programs

Major

Major: Specialization in Chinese Studies
The Major in Chinese Studies consists of the successful completion of 18 semester hours of Chinese language courses beyond level 2, and 12 semester hours in China-related courses, selected under advisement. At least six hours must be taken in residence.

Major: Specialization in Chinese
The Major in Chinese consists of the successful completion of 24 semester hours of Chinese language courses beyond level 4, and six semester hours in Asia-related courses, selected under advisement. At least six hours must be taken in residence.

Minor

Minor: Specialization in Chinese Studies
The Minor in Chinese Studies consists of the successful completion of 12 semester hours of Chinese language courses beyond level 2, and 6 semester hours in China-related courses, selected under advisement. At least six hours must be taken in residence.

Minor: Specialization in Chinese
The Minor in Chinese consists of the successful completion of 18 semester hours in Chinese beyond level 2, under advisement. At least six hours must be taken in residence.)
